My Story
I live in Maplewood, I'm a mom of two boys, a wife, a food lover, and a travel enthusiast. After my family, my two great passions in life are athletics and singing.
Throughout middle and high school, I played volleyball and ran track, and I’ve been a cheerleader since the age of three. Even in the offseason it wouldn’t have been unusual to find me running bleacher laps at the football field. And I’ve been singing almost as long, everywhere from church choir to dive bars to football stadiums.
But it was only after joining my high school’s theatre that I fell in love with performing and decided to go all in. After moving to New York to attend the American Musical and Dramatic Academy, I booked a few small roles in film and theatre, but I became tired of the hustle, so I switched paths and started working in restaurants, which is where I met my husband.
After leaving the restaurant industry and having our first son in 2017, I was in desperate search of my old athletic self. Nearly a year later, I stumbled across Lagree NY in Astoria. I took classes there for a few months, and before I knew it, I was invited to train as an instructor. I’ve been teaching for a little over a year, and during that time I had another little boy. Thanks to the Lagree method, my recovery the second time around was much easier than the first. I am a true believer in this method — not only what it can do for you physically, but also for your mental health.
As a mom of two, I know firsthand how hard it can be to make time to do something for yourself, so recently I’ve begun doing in-home training with an emphasis on pre & postpartum fitness.
